Step 5: P/V… Booked!

After weeks of contemplating, we finally met our chosen photographer and videographer just this afternoon at Razon’s Ayala Technohub.

with Anna and John of Aisle 1401

with CJ and Monica of Redscale (medyo pasmado si Kuya Razon's hehe)

They both showed their sample works and we discussed our  wedding theme, photo/video concept, etc. They’re all makulit and fun to talk with. Dadi and I are looking forward to work with them. *Excited!*

Thanks to my “sisses” at Girltalk and fellow W@wies at  Weddings at Work for recommending Aisle 1401. Special thanks to Kasal.com for featuring Redscale Studios, and we discovered them by chance. Yey! :D

Bee Happy Leap Year 2012!

I was sick and my cough was really bad so I didn’t go to UP and just worked from home. After office, Dadi dropped by and brought me Jolly Hotdog! FYI, I so love Jolly Hotdog. I wasn’t able to take a picture of the actual Jolly Hotdog, naubos na kasi agad. Hehe.

He told me that he wanted to spend Feb, 29 with me, since this only happens every 4 years. Sweet.

And I told him that though it’s traditionally acceptable for women to propose marriage to men on a leap year, I wouldn’t do that because I wasn’t prepared. I asked him to wait until 2016. hehehee. :D

Thanks, Dadi for making our leap year simply memorable. ‘Till our next leap year! You know what to tell our future kid(s) what we did last leap year, ok?  LOL. :)

DIY

I came across an online forum at Female Network on DIY weddings and got so many wonderful ideas. Dadi and I already have a theme in mind, but the exact and more important details (and moolah) are yet to follow. I like the wedding to be really personal, as if every single thing you see in our wedding represents “us.” I hope we’ll be able to do it.

The things I do when I’m bored and getting stressed with so much work and reading. Heheh.

Valentine’s Day: 2012 Edition

Sweetness and cuteness combined

Our second Valentine’s day together.  Dadi knows that though I’m ultra girly, I’m not a flower and teddy bear type of girl. Still, he gave me pink roses (yes, pink! not red, yey!) with a tiny teddy bear and red, heart shaped-pillow. Okay, I gave in. And I’m slowly turning into a girl who loves flowers, teddy bears, anything heart-shaped, and Valentine’s Day. <3 Thank you, Dadi! Ab ab! <3

Some more Valentine presents I received from friends, students and Dadi:

(Belated) Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Keep on spreading love and happiness! :)

B&B meet C&D

Dadi and I are silent rushers for years already (I started listening to The Morning Rush when I was in high school…that’s more than a decade ago!), and this is one of the gazillion things we have in common.  Talk about being compatible, huh? Great minds think alike. Birds of the same feather are same birds. Really. Korni ko. :D

So, when the The Best of Chico and Delamar’s The Morning Rush Top 10 book was released, we bought our copies and even went to the first book launching and signing at Robinson’s Galleria last January 28, 2012. Unfortunately, we didn’t make it to the cut off. Fortunately, there’s another book signing at National Bookstore, Trinoma last February 4. Registration was said to start at 11 AM, so we were there at 10:08 AM, thinking that we would be the earliest to fall in line. But lo and behold, we were No. 108 and No. 109.

Look at that pila!

We also saw one of our students there!

Hello, Hazel! May bonus points ka daw from the Dean. :) )

And we gave Chico and Delle these:

From Chico’s Instagram. He thanked us for these via Twitter. Sweet. :)

Finally! :)

B&B and C&D!

Christmas gifts (surprise!)

We did our Christmas shopping for our family and friends together, so it was quite a challenge to squeeze in our schedule to “secretly” shop for gifts for each other.
But Dadi surprised me and got me this pretty pink satchel bag from Chickflick‘s Store.

Love it! The bag is soooo me! :)

And I gave Dadi this:

Meet Mr. Gorgeous, the newest addition to Dadi's gorilla collection

Happy 2nd Christmas, Dadi!
Happy Christmas everyone! :)
