Step 7: Food Tasting

We had our food tasting at Nature’s Cafe (the in-house caterer of Nature’s Church) last July 18.

Do not disturb the fruit ninja.

Here comes the food!

There was also an ongoing wedding when we arrived, so we sort of gate crashed and observed how they usually hold weddings and receptions. I swear, we’re really mabait and polite gate crashers.

The church set-up was really simple.

No offense to the couple (whoever they are), the color motif was just so...80's and 90's? Red, white and gold/yellow? Reminds me of a fastfood chain. 🙁

Igor: Teka, may padating na yata. Lezgow. Baka makita tayo! Kakahiya.

Then, we stopped by Starbucks, SM Southmall for some caffeine fix. We also went to Red Ribbon to see if we could just order our cake from them.

Freebie.

Before going home, we went back to Dadi’s house to say hello to his mom, sister and adorable pamangkins. Then, we dropped by Aggy’s Bakeshop to look for more wedding cake options.

Why are wedding cakes so expensive? And who needs a 5-tiered wedding cake, all edible, when all you need is a slice or two for the ceremonial cake cutting. Tsk. I think we’ll just go back to Red Ribbon. 😀
